16 November 2007- A day to remember

Yesterday was a medley of good and bad events that befell.

The car could not start up owing to a problem with the battery and I had to take a taxi to school in order to collect my password for the PAE. I can't believe that I had to wait approx. 10 min outside VS just to flag down an empty taxi, and guess what? It's only possible on the other side of the road. When I got home, my uncle had to come back during the lunch hour to start up the car, aided by a passer-by karang guni man. Mum had to make sure that the car ran at above 2rpm for 30 minutes. We ended up travelling along the ECP to and fro VS. Since we were out already, Mum suggested getting the cake and buying ingredients for a mini-party. Well, the party certainly wasn't premeditated.

This isn't the first time that I stepped into the kitchen and got down to work, but I can say that it's been quite a long time! Here are some pictures:
