Living life the way it is
Everyday seems so long, or maybe it's just drama wearing me out. To the extent that I only look forward to rehearsals. To the extent that I am going to break down. Or I already have. I must have infuriated the entire LT( or PT for the Chem lecture) and the lecturers with for trying to blow off my blocked nose, sniffing and sniffing as they went rambling on and on. Missed school because I find it so hard to breathe, to talk properly after exerting my throat too much yesterday. But on the lighter side, rehearsals have been FUN! Allow me to recount what happened. TUESDAY, 150408 - After playing CS with my classmates during PW lessons at the Computer Lab, I went down to the LangLab for my rehearsals. As usual, I was slightly late. [N.B The last time I said slightly, I was 45 minutes late. But this time, it was just 2 minutes :)]. At least I wasn't the last. After putting my bag down, I started resting on the chair. God knows what happened, but I ended up talking to Andrea despite that throbbing headache. Her teacher had given her parents a call after she failed her CTs, and she was trying means and ways to avoid her parents e.g eating lots and lots of butter squid from ThaiPan, getting nauseous on the bus and puking at home before her dad can even scold her! Lol! Apparently, she was so distressed that she started wrting everything she said, about PRCs imbalanced IQ and EQ, about her CT, about missing her dog! However, she did mention that her Maths tutor, who is one of my Maths lecturer, is the nicest IP teacher around. *Cough*Cough*Cough* NICE IS RELATIVE*
Mark then ordered dinner from ThaiPan again. This time, I took rice and shared the food with them. I love the cereal chicken most! I was very hungry by then, but still I managed to converse with the cast. With Mark and Ziyang conjuring up jokes, it was such a wonderful dinner! Andrea was pretty quiet, though. Probably pre-tirade stress! Hahax! After Andrea left, it was down to Ziyang and me to settle movements. We had previously thought of spoofing the play, but the directors weren't too sure about that. We finally came up with ideas on how to spoof various areas. For example, we can get Ziyang to suddenly break out of his geek style after Andrea takes away the Little Prince and go "Yes!Yes!Yes!", punching his fists into the air!LoL!!! Obviously there were more, but I am not going to disclose any further.P.S Mark also had his post-7pm behaviour, trying to sing in the high pitch voice of Shane Ward while playing the song "Breathless"! WEDNESDAY, 160408- Was late for meeting as Mark and Ziyang caught me gobbling down pattaya rice at 3pm. During the meeting,FCFW cast members were either gossipng among friends or sleeping with their eyes half-open (Of course, Pres Mark and Vice-Pres Ziyang were carrying out their duties) . I promised Yawen to get him the toilet bowl from VS( The portable one). When rehearsals finally started, we worked on the kissing and dancing scenes. In the end, we decided not to put the thumb on the face but rather for their backs to face the audiences. But with my nose blocked and throat sore, I couldn't really bring out Eddie, let alone not memorising my script. Sigh... Played football using scraps and tape with Ziyang in the Langlab, something I haven't done in a while. Kenickie also spammed Mark's camera with disgusting pictures of made-up privates. After rehearsals, I then went to Parkway with Mark and Ziyang for dinner. We were actually given $50 for ThaiPan, but since it was only the 3 of us, we thought of using it for Ajisen Ramen or Crystal Jade, but that would fully use the $50. Instead, we proceeded to the foodcourt and went on dutch as we are not the kind who manipulate funds for personal gains. The $50 would be used for another meal when the entire cast is around. There, we discussed about the progress of the play, announcement of DramaNite, and...guess who we saw? Mr and Mrs _ _ _ _!(Psst, they are not married yet!). Uh uh, no gossiping, I will not reveal! So life's been pretty fun, yet hectic. I will be watching VS ELDDS' Dramafest at Raffles Hotel tommorow. Hopefully, it doesn't disappoint me. Till then. |
