    Saturday,10/5/08,Clear

I felt so tempted to just lie in bed and not wake up. After all, it was 7am on a Saturday morning and the thought of having to proceed to Dunman High School for the pre-summit briefing just put me off. However, I don't have any personal obligations towards other commitments and since the IP girls can't make it, it was necessary for me to be there.
When I got there, I felt so segregated. Every other school came in droves of students, causing me to feel so alone. Little did I realise that VJC sent 2 teams, one from History, the other from GP. Apparently, they were allocated Malaysia. One of the girls, Rachel, was also in the ASTC. Basically, I think RMUNC gave me quite a bit of a headstart, so the model summit would be a great opportunity for me to give my best since I didn't get the chance to do so last year.
After that, I headed down to Holland Village and entered one of the shops owned by a company named da paulo. The rock bun was great, and the chocolate was just heavenly! Moved over to Mhd. Sultan to have a Mother's Day lunch at Hakata Nipon Ryori, a restaurant selling Kyushu favourites. The food was absolutely delightful, seeming like a prelude to our trip :) The Kyushu Special Ramen that I tried was very tasty and the stock was great.

At night, we were supposed to just rest at home after the long day, but decided to give Grandma a treat for Mother's Day. Just look at her!

Really tired already, after DramaNite and now inter-house debates. I didn't have a choice. I was made LYNX's team captain and thankfully, we had a walkover win over Draco, with me being nominated 'Best Speaker' by the judges. Hopefully, we can put up a good fight with Aquilla on Tuesday, since I heard that they have an IP student who was 2nd in 'B' Division last year. Sigh...I just have to brace myself.

    Till then...
