7th and 8th...
The celebrations were a waste of time because everything was so disoriented, not to mention that it was a bad day for my class. After getting the go-ahead from Ms Ng, the entire class followed other classes and began sitting down at the parade square. We only needed one person to be noticed by Mr Seet, and the harangue started. The lack of stamina, how do we expect to go to the army, what a bunch of sissies. Well, the list grows. Even other classes were shocked at what happened. Oh well, what can I say? In the hall, it was no better, except for the fact that the air-con was turned on. It was pretty amusing to see the teachers' behaviour on stage though. Hahax I think Mr Chan's was best :) Lol! ALL THINGS FUNNY Of course, there were a couple of funny teachers around. There were these teachers who had been cycling on the stationary bike from the start of the celebrations to the end. Chan Wei named them 'Lactic-acid junkies', people who need lactic acid to build up in their body. Lol Chan Wei!! THE BUS RIDE HOME I decided to go home myself today since school ended at 9am and I didn't want Mummy to wake up too early just to pick me up. I felt a little embarrassed walking out of the school gate so early, but I saw people doing the same thing and thought: " Aiyo, school's officially out anyway! It doesn't really matter..." While walking to the bus stop, I was thinking of how the bus ride would bore me to death, and probably result in me stuffing my ears with my iPod. And Ernie isn't around in school today. ( Of all days, you have to choose the shortest to do your blood test! Anyways, let's hope it turns out well!) Hahax but lady luck was shining on me. Thankfully, I met Doria at the bus stop and we took the same buses home. (36 and 53 came surprisingly quickly today, but alas, Singaporean buses seem really slow and inefficient.) It was really enjoyable chatting with her about books, drama serials and our lives! Well, at least I don't bitch about others. ( I only mentioned Shi Wei had been in a boy's school for ten years and broke out into hysteria again!) Hahax for once my bus ride is not filled with boredom nor laden with complete nonsense!! Yay!! IS IT ME? I don't really know for sure, but sometimes I feel as though some female hormone is subconsciously acting within my body, thus explaining the penchant for lots of things tilting towards the feminine side(Or so I suppose, like drama, cooking, chatting etc.) "WHO SAYS MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS? THEY JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE TO SHOP!" We headed down to Orchard Road yesterday to get a gift and I spent $60 on CDs for myself. (Doria was shocked at the amount I spent and asked how much I got for my expenses. Lol...My monthly expenses are only 2/5 of hers! And she thought what I got per month is for per week only! If only...Hahax:) ) I bought Leona Lewis' Spirit, Ono Lisa's best 2002-2006, Julio Iglesias' Romantic Classics and a compilation of oldies known as Unforgettable. I wanted to get Frank Sinatra's CDs, but I realised those could wait. I also saw the taiwanese version of the Ying Ye OST, but it was such a rip-off at $28.50!!If it was $20 or below, I would not have made any noise. This one deserves lambasting. JAM AT A BOTTLENECK Loyang Ave. 's always jammed in the mornings and evenings. It took us half an hour to get through a distance that only requires only a minute. ![]() And we were spamming pictures at the Friven & Co.'s main shop at the Old Tanglin Post Office:
