    music gets you through

    I WANT 黄建为's albums!!

He was featured in the newspapers several times already. I first heard him singing several covers on the radio, and I realised his personal albums are really good! He's one of those indie singers, away from mainstream C-pop. But what really sets him apart from the others in the indie C-pop scene is that his folk music gives a really rustic feel. It provides a very laid-back atmosphere, one that takes all the stress away from you. The serenity makes life so much easier...

Little Tree, Summer Dream (the yellow one) is much better than Over The Way, but it's only a single. His second album would be released in September 08', even though I'm not sure if it would be sold in Singapore because the first two aren't available here. Why do I always want things that are so difficult to get?

On a sidenote, I got Jason Mraz's "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." (even though it's been almost 2 weeks). It's definitely one of those snazzy albums that can get you on your feet! I love "I'm Yours", "Lucky (feat. Colbie Caillat)" and "Details In The Fabric"!!! "Make It Mine", "Butterfly" and "If It Kills Me" take on a different tone, but they are equally as good :)
