    food,food and more food...

    This is becoming very much of a taboo topic for me, since every time I speak about food Ernest will start nagging at me. Hahax! But nonetheless, I'm still gonna blog about it.







    We headed down to Wisma Atria about a week ago to do some shopping. I was supposed to be looking for winter clothing but there was not enough time to go about doing it. Anyways, the food in the pictures above were from Food Republic (Hmm... For those who don't know, my bro and the building are not food, alright?) . Okay, let me comment one by one...The cost of the dim sum was exorbitant!! 3 baskets for $10.50!! At first, I thought I heard the lady say $4.50, but then she repeated herself in Chinese and said $10.50! It was so-so only. The push cart meant that the siew mai and har gao had turned cold...Oh well, a lesson learnt :(



    The hokkien mee used to be very good the first time I tried it, but now the standard has dropped a bit. I think the one at Parkway Parade was better than this. But, there was a 50% offer when I bought the noodles, so perhaps the stallholder had cooked it in a rush.



    The best of the dinner happened to be desert- nonya kueh!Okay...I don't know their respective names (Shall find out soon...), but the one with gula melaka poured over it was really great! The kueh was soft and the sweetness blended well with the glutinous rice-taste! The other tapioca kueh was delicious as well! There was one with banana and it was a really fresh mix! The company happens to be a catering company in Bedok which had set up a stall specially at Wisma Atria. But at 3 for $2 (and 5 for $3 I think) , such quality kueh is not to be missed! I think it is better than the kueh at Chilli Padi.

    I think I made this pizza a couple of weeks ago (before Promos?) Lol :) This one was pretty burnt because I wasn't looking after the oven. Sigh...I bought ingredients to bake a FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE quite some time ago, but I haven't found the time to bake it. Sianx...And I want to go shopping!! The DKNY windbreaker looks cool, and I wanna go see the clothings at ZARA!! Hahax the Hugo Boss suit looks very slick...I want one someday when I get older :)

    4 November. It will be over. And let the craze begin.
