here i am
As promised, I'm back for more to tell.
Firstly, there's only 5 more days to the end of PW. The session today was really lengthy, and at best, futile. 7 hours of torture, but it only revealed the worst of me ever speaking in front of a crowd. I was having a fever, my nose was an unclosed tap running incessantly and my voice felt so nasal. So after 6 hours of waiting, it was finally my turn to go up and speak. Sure, I was confident, but my voice and facial expressions were deeply masked by the discomfort I felt. Yet, all I got was a string of bad comments. Too much walking, 'diva lecturer' and being too defensive. Sigh...I gotta watch myself on Tuesday. The other teacher mentioned that I made the 'Tsk tsk' noise 3 times during my speech. Never in my life do I have a habit of doing that, so I immediately gave a vehement denial. Just as I was about to go home, I realised that it was actually my sniffing nose that made the 'Tsk tsk' noise. Well, hell yes, what a day! Utter rubbish...
Now, it's time for some food again!
This nasi lemak came from Afghanistan Restaurant at block 201 in Tampines (whether it's 201A,B,C or D, I really don't know). I love it beacause the rice has a really fragrant coconut taste, and the sweetness of the chilli blends well with the rice. The combination is much better than the one from Changi Village :) Old and new

The first picture is that of yam cake. I used to frequent that store every weekend when I was in Secondary 2. The satay is pretty good, something I didn't expect in Chinatown, while the chilli blended well with the pineapple sauce. The third is some glutinous rice with green beans. For a warning, it only tastes fantastic with sweet sauce. The final one- Claypot rice!! We had to wait for 1hr 10mins before they served it because the queue was just so long! But I think it's worth the wait, even though the place was hot and oily despite the renovations.
And yes!! I got the Boyzone Greatest Hits CD already! I bought the DVD version as it came with one extra song and a DVD of all their MVs from the 90's. Lol :)
Mummy baked Chocolate-chip Rock Buns. And I think it's comparable to those by the da paolo chain of restaurants (there are outlets at Holland V. and Great World City) :) Next up- Some photos by the trigger-happy! P.S It's getting troublesome trying to change the text after adding photos.
