    puzzle of my heart

I went to get the 命中注定我爱你 OST at Parkway Parade right after I was done with PW! I don't want to wait for months after the OST is sold out before I start looking for it.

I've been listening to the Greatest Hits album of Boyzone for the past week already. They are Westlife's predecessors and I realise both boybands have similar styles, even though Westlife seems to exude a more youthful charm than the ruggedness of Boyzone. I wanted to get " Back Again...No Matter What/ The Greatest Hits" by Boyzone, but decided that I should check around for the prices first. Besides, I suppose the 命中注定我爱你 OST will sell out faster than that :)

Lots of things have been going on through my mind, through my life. Perhaps I will just talk about some right now.

    1) Remember I mentioned about the dim sum at Wisma Atria being so obnoxiously and ridiculously expensive? Well, if we assumed Wisma Atria to be a slightly more prime and upmarket location, I don't suppose Parkway Parade to be the same right? Dead wrong!! Prices are sky high there nowadays as well! I paid almost double for a plate of nasi padang that had it's price printed explicitly on the menu. But like in the case of Wisma Atria's dim sum, the staff were apparently *ahem* foreigners (to be exact, Ah Tiongs...If you don't understand, ask me) and their service attitudes were appaling. They expect you to hand money to them without having the intention to tell you the cost, slapping the plates on the counter and staring at you as if you owe them money! I was too disgruntled to argue or make a complaint, so I just accepted it and walked off. But at the end of it all, we should learn from our mistakes (which brings me to my second point). The service sector should not be flooded with these unprofessional foreigners if those companies do not have the intention to train them and ensure that they provide immaculate services even to the masses. The same goes for locals as well. We still have a long way to go. Perhaps too much of Japanese culture just lingers in my head...

    2) " Why do we fall down?"- "So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up."
What baffles me is that some people just don't learn. You may hit them hard, throw them to the lowest levels of hell or banish them beyond the realms of their sanity, tearing their worlds apart, but in the blink of an eye, everything's back to normal. Like it has all never happened. The next moment, the very same hypocrites are off scrambling to save their asses, with no regard for the feelings or existence of others. We live in this world and cannot avoid having relationships, friendships and links with others. But without feelings, respect and regard, the above cannot exist. The biggest mistake to ever make, is to disregard someone's very existence. However you hate that person, however you wish him/her dead, the least one could do is to even acknowledge his/her existence. Giving a simple analogy, "You don't have to love me, you don't have to hate me, but I will always be there and that's a fact you can't deny". I know it, and I hate it. But, my point is this- if such a behaviour, if such an action can allow one to learn from his/her mistake, at the end of the day, being the victim of countless malice would still be worth it. Helping someone to get on the right track is indeed priceless, but can they ever? We can only hope. Blessed will be the souls who choose to believe, because someone else will always believe in them, a guardian angel watching over them, taking every step along the way with them. And strong they will remain, for their hearts will always be one.

There's actually another point, but I guess I will blog about that tomorrow.

I'm very worn out already. Lethargic. But I will push on.

She's the puzzle of my heart...

I take that as a 'red-card', but don't worry about sacking me, because I will quit on you.
