revitalised?
It's confirmed: The 8-day trip to Tokyo officially costs only $700!
It's indeed such a surprise, and that means another $100 could go somewhere else into spending :)
I'm not sure why, but I always have a penchant for not sleeping the night before national examinations. I felt like an insomniac the entire night, dozing off only at 6am to wake up at 6.30am. The same thing happened during the Mathematics PSLE paper. I only slept for an hour and a half. There were skeptics of course, people who thought I wouldn't do well enough, but I proved them wrong with an A* for Maths in the end. Today's situation was slightly similar, but I had to grab a can of coffee to ensure that I didn't 'shut down' like in H2 Economics for Promos. That can lasted me 3 hours, before I started feeling a bit worn out in the car. One thing's for sure, it's definitely better than Red Bull.
The Chinese paper was still do-able, even though the last 2 passages for paper 2 were slightly tougher. Paper 1 was a breeze as I chose the ridiculously easy question of expanding a given story: an incident involving a disabled old man selling tissue paper at the hawker centre. Somehow or rather, I developed many ideas and feelings about such an issue, and the fact that the spirits of some to continue their life with their own efforts kicked me hard. I guess I will have a different take on this issue from now on.
I brought Daryl to watch Max Payne opposite at Downtown East right after lunch at home. I played the video game last year, so the storyline for the movie was quite familiar to me. All in all, I think the tone taken by the movie was a bit monotonous and only Mark Wahlberg seems to stand out really well. His portrayal of despair and desperation was way beyond my expectation. The screenplay was pretty good as well, with the so-called 'angels' and fiery backdrop that seems like Hell. (Well, losing his family so tragically is tantamount to his living hell.)
Hahax the quiz on Doria's blog was really funny!! Actually, it was just one question in particular. Here it is, taken from her blog:
Q5.Is 7 a boy or girl (Joanne)? HAHAHAHA. How come so coincidental?????? what should i say? Both feminine and masculine at the same time?
Lol :) What a coincidence...Hmmm...And the question concerning me reminded me about that sudden influx of inspiration when trying to respond to Joanne's calling us Stupid! Psst...it wasn't just me, but Shi Wei as well lo!! Here's the question, koped from her blog:
Q16. What is the very special thing that you like about 3 the most (Bryant)? Sense of humour! Define stupid, the new clever! HAHA! (insider joke). Something related to Joanne. Hahaha.
Note: It's actually Bryan T. But she thinks Bryant sounds quite cool as well, and indeed it does :)
It seems that I know a lot of inside jokes aye? There's the Timothy bang-the-wall one, and Timothy's family tree in VJC. Ohhh...and Shi Wei mentioned to me about 'Pi Sai' or 'Nose wax'. He's actually someone in the SC whom I'm on pretty good terms with. No, I shan't name him, but you can probably guess who he is already.
I've got lots of pictures to post and stories to tell, and I've yet to talk about the third point in the previous-previous post. Probably tomorrow when I'm free? I shall go relax now. My body has been very tense, and I really need more rest.
Ciao
