    it's been a busy week

I was up by 9am everyday without fail for the past week: going out, drama EXCO meetings etc. To the extent that I had suffered from a really bad headache yesterday when I was shopping at Suntec City. Hopefully, I won't suffer it again when I'm on the amazing race segment of the SP Current Affairs Competition with Shi Wei and Yan Jie.
Anyway, I went to try Curry Favour with North, Ryan, Wei Liang and Shi Wei last Friday. The curry was very delicious, much better than the sweet Osaka curry I tried at Haji Lane.
    North

I think this was at Stamford House...

After curry rice, North left as he had to pack his bags for Thailand. The remaining 4 of us then went to Raffles City to 'jalan jalan'. But being us, we were soon hungry again, so I brought them to this stall called The Pizza Place and we shared a regular Seafood Pizza. By the way, NO GST and NO Service Charge was what attracted Shi Wei. His reaction:

For your information, Wei Liang and I finished the entire bottle of cheese that was on the table. 2 slices of pizza for each of us right? (We did the same at n.y.d.c again.)

Tuesday, 11-11-08: I met Amos and Wei Liang to celebrate our birthdays! Mine is on 16th ( this Sunday), Wei Liang's on 21st and Amos' on 23rd. So I'm technically the big brother :) Hahax. Wei Liang got tickets to Quantum of Solace at Plaza Singapura. Amos calls it 关灯绑 shoelace. The show was pretty boring for a Bond flick, with most of the action sequences done by the first part of the movie. It also lacked the satirical side that Daniel Craig's predecessors possessed. And it was far too serious for me to really enjoy it.

Plaza Singapura did not have much nice stuff for us to eat, so the three of us walked down to Heeren to try out n.y.d.c. When we were at the restaurant, Amos apparently asked the waitress why the 'd' in 'n.y.d.c' was red in colour, making her so paiseh. The food was pretty normal, even though I would have preferred cream instead of tomato sauce for my Three Amigos pasta (which caused my diarrhoea). And Amos insisted that they were going to charge Wei Liang $11.90 for showing him a pot of curry because Wei Liang ordered 'Show Me The Curry'. Hahax. But the best was actually the cookie monster mudpie which the three of us shared.

    Cookie Monster Mudpie!!

They weren't really interested in shopping, so we proceeded to Amos' house to satisfy Wei Liang's appetite for the SAW franchise. They played reversi while waiting for the movie to load. (Oohhh...reversi...Hahax, remember I got scolded for playing that?)

Tao Ze should be written as Tao Ji Ji, correct?

We ended up at Tampines Mall's McDonalds' for dinner. Amos accompanied me back home, but in the end, he stayed over at my house! We played FIFA 08, the Wii and watched Saw 2 until about 5am. My brother and him played through the night while I got some sleep. When I woke up, Amos told me that the 1pm news was starting soon. I turned on my phone and thought, "Eh...It's only 7.36am, why is my phone so slow?" I checked my watch and changed the timing on my phone to 2.12pm. But I found out that it was really weird, so I checked my watch again and realised I had looked at it from the wrong side. Lol :) But I couldn't play with them in the morning. I was rushing through my drama proposal, and rushing in and out of the toilet. Amos, thanks for making 111108 so memorable, and I'm so sorry that my brother disturbed you throughout the night. Thanks Amos!!

Yesterday, I went to n.y.d.c with Mummy and Didi to let her try out the Cookie Monster Mudpie. The serving was much bigger than at Heeren. We also tried out the N.B.B. ( Newer Better Brownie), but I shouldn't have gotten the waitress to microwave the brownie.

Hahax it's been like birthday week for me, all the celebrations seem to build up to this Sunday. But it's weird. My birthday's on Sunday, yet I haven't ordered my cake yet. No birthday gifts as well, as I'm waiting for tomorrow's newspaper before I decide on the iPhone.

To Amos and Wei Liang, HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance!! I'll get presents for you soon (Is a new bag okie for you, Amos?) , and let's meet up for lunch again!
